Second Packaging Materials Div.

We mainly handle “PACKAGING PRODUCTS”, such as cartons and containerboards. By connecting paper manufacturers with paper product companies, we ensure a stable supply of base paper through inventory management system and digital tools to streamline logistics.
To meet the various needs of our customers, we also engage in “reverse logistics” by collecting used paper and selling recycled paper. We have built a recycling value chain that includes developing and supplying recycled packaging materials, such as recycled containerboards, corrugated boxes and folding carton boxes made from recycled paper, coordinating resource circulation.

Overseas Trading Div.

Using our specialized capabilities in the areas of paper materials and paper products and leveraging the global networks of Mitsui & Co. to the fullest, we develop packaging and environment-friendly products and provide optimized raw materials, products, and business schemes in partnership with our customers in Japan and overseas. We are also actively engaged in social contribution activities.

Business Development Div

Our Business Development Department focuses on three main areas in consideration of the environment.
Firstly, “Developing Recycling Schemes”. We are creating recycling systems for paper products, aiming to make the efficient use of resources and reduce waste. Secondly, “Paper Packaging Development”. We are working to develop new paper materials and products to replace plastic based materials aiming to improve sustainability. Finally, “Creating Eco-Friendly Business Models”. By using forest-based and/or plant-based alternatives to plastic, as well as upcycling, we strive to lower environmental impact and build a sustainable future.

Industrial Materials Div.

We supply the major mines around the world with ultra large Off-the-Road tires for mining and construction vehicles indispensable for mineral resources development.
